Electronic components
In 1994, upon take-over of the electronics manufacturer Telemit in Haus im Wald near Grafenau, we decided to make a strategic realignment. Apart from the existing placement lines and soldering units, we also took on the majority of employees and know-how-carriers. In 2009 the still young competence area electronics was given an additional stimulus for growth spurt, when the development company Technagon was founded.
Numerous investments in the modernization of ESD production sectors, production facilities and testing systems have been made since then. The new acquisition of a modern SMD placement line for circuit board assembly with a combined assembly performance of up to 40,000 components per hour as well as various optical and electronic inspection and test systems shall only serve as examples here.
Circuit board assembly – Manifold assembly technologies
Today, we master all relevant assembly technologies such as SMT, THT and mixed assembly and process nearly all component shapes including 01005, QFN, PGA, BGA as well as circuit board formats of up to 400x450 mm according IPC A 610 standards. Our comprehensive production processes range from reflow soldering through wave soldering and press-in technology up to various procedures for product finishing, such as PCB cleaning, painting and casting technology e.g. for ATEX applications. On request, we will even produce your components with controlled batch management of the components according to ZVEI [Central Association of the Electrical Engineering and Electronics Industry] Traceability up to Level 3.
Functional test
Besides optical test procedures such as AOI and visual microscope test stations, we also offer electronic testing methods such as FPT (Flying Probe Test) or assembly-specific functional tests, which can also be adapted to existing test systems in the customer’s own test equipment construction, depending on the customer’s wishes.
The individual requirements of your product are always the decisive factor for the determination of the suitable production process. For us, quality begins already in the planning stage.
